Perfectly Senior Horse Summer Pellet (50 lb. bag)
There is something special about the older horse that has been around for years. Many times, this animal is more than just a horse; it is part of the family. They have devoted their lives to our enjoyment and have become a part of our everyday life. Research shows that as they grow older, their nutritional requirements change. To ensure increased longevity, we have developed two seasonal PERFECTLY SENIOR diets to meet these changing requirements. PERFECTLY SENIOR is the perfect affordable diet for your older horse.
This feed is designed to be fed to senior horse, performance horses, or breeding horses either as a complete feed or supplemented with hay or pasture equivalent.

Feeding Instructions
As a complete feed, provide 1 to 2 lbs per 100 lbs body weight each day. Along with forage, feed at 0.5 to 1 lbs per 100 lbs body weight per day. Divide the total daily feeding into two feedings approximately 12 hours apart AM/PM. Adjust the amounts given according to environment, work level and body condition of the horse. Provide clean fresh water at all times. Make all feeding changes gradually over a two-week period. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times except to hot, tired horses. Horses should be cooled out properly before having access to unlimited water or being fed. Horses should have their feeding rate reduced when exercise is reduced. Salt should be available free choice.
